The White Lake

Chilam turned her gaze away from Hototo's, making a soft clicking noise with her tongue to make her mare match her steps with Bones.

Lexi smiled and looked to her friend jolon.. "hey Jolly, do you think Xesus can be a stud for Hopi?" hearing this Xesus's snorted and bobbed his head

Jolon nodded "of course I don't think we will be able to split them apart" she said as Hopi scooted to Xesus. Hopi neighed and bobbed her head. Bone neighed and kept his pace with High steps. Hototo laughed "they seem to like each other" he said.

with a small charming smile she nodded. "Ah, that they do.. It's amazing what meeting another can do to change something like that" she put her arms in her lap, letting High-steps free range of anything, only holding on with her legs.

Lexi smiled "Good point, maybe we should move them into the large stall together?" she gave a tilt of her head.. "OH! Chilam, we will have to find a stalk for high-steps when we return to the ranch"

"Oh, High-steps runs free, she's not to be tethered or locked up."

Jolon shook her head "we should let them stay out here not like their going to run away" she said. Hopi neighed in agreement. Hototo nodded "Bone goes where he likes and comes when I call him" he said.

"no. Jolon, when we return after the camping trip." Xesus bobbed his head at lexie's words

Chilam watched them.

Jolon huffed "yeah at least we are keeping them safe" she asked. Hototo watched with a smirk. Bone neighed and watched them. Hopi listened flicking her tail. (what gender with foal and what look)

"How about we spit up and two of us go each way around the lake?.. See who can get to the other side first.?" lexi smiled brightly, knowning Xesus was fast, she wasn't sure of Bones or High-steps, them being 'wild' ..

Chilam tilted her head.. "Why?" she asked turning slightly on the horses back so she could see Lexi clearly..

Jolon smiled "I like that or we could make a new trail" she said. Hototo just listened as they decided what to do. Bone neighed ad pawed the ground. Hopi did the same with a whine.

Lexi nodded.. "what do you think?.. "She asked as she pulled her horse up next to Bone..
High-steps snorted and reared up slightly, her head tossing back and forth, flattening her ears against her skull..

Chilam hushes high-steps by leaning forward and wrapping her arms around his neck, giving him a kiss.

Bone scooted closer to High Steps with a neigh. Hototo laughed and got ready. Hopi scooted closer to Xesus and neighed. Jolson laughed and looked at them.

Lexi "want to race?... Two of us go one way the others go the other way.."

Nodding chilam gently pushed her heel into High-steps side, making her move forwards.. "okay"

Bone nodded his head and Hototo chuckled "I think Bone agrees and so do I" he said. Bone neighed and shook his mane, he pawed the ground anxiously. Hopi neighed and bobbed her head up and down. Jolson smiled "are we ready" she asked.

Lexi let out a soft chide of laughter, tucking her blonde hair behind her ear.. "alright, me and Jolon will take that route" she pointed to the left side.. "could you guys take the right?"


nodding her head, Chilam tapped High-steps side with her right foot and the mare started heading to the right of the lake.. "Sounds good to me.. Call if something happens, wolves and mountain cats live around here."

Lexi nods "okay"

Hototo nodded "ready Chilam" he asked. Jolon went and spurred her horse over to Lexi "ready Lex" she asked.

Chilam nodded and shifted how she was sitting.. "You know what to do high-steps, good luck" she whispered softly.. "and good luck to you too Bones" she reached over and stroked his mane.

Lex gave a curt nod.

Bone nuzzled her. Hototo smile and leaned over Bone grabbing his mane. Jolon nodded and yelled "ready go" she yelled and Hopi ran.

Chilam grinned and leaned forward as she waited for the call to run.

"GO!" lexi called out kicking xesus's lightly in the side. "go boy go!"

Chilam tapped High-steps lightly.

Hototo whispered in Bones ear "run like the wind" and he did. Hopi neighed and ran. Jolon sat on Hopi as she ran. She put her hands out and felt the wind.
