The Horse Trails

Jace hugged her to his chest and started to have Wisp go at a soft gallop. He rode back carefully hoping to not disturb the peace. He reached the stables and looked at her. He had the horse stay and his arms around her as she leaned on him. He wanted to stay like this forever but knew he couldn't.

She waited there for a moment before sitting up. "Come on, lets get her tack off and wash her down." Samara said, waiting for Jace to get off first.

Jace nodded and slipped off reaching his hand out to help her off. With a smirk he picked her up off of there and put her down. He put her in the stable to wash and turned on the hose to wait for it to get warm. When it got warm he took off her saddle bridle and reins. He grabbed the brush and soap. He washed her down with soap and held the hose out for her to take.

She smiled and waited, taking the hose she carefully washed the suds off of Wisp. Samara smiled and looked to Jace. "She's an amazing horse." the blue eyes girl said, finishing up washing the suds off of Wisp.

Jace nodded "she is the only thing I have left of my old pack and parents other than this" he said pulling out a beaded necklace with their picture in the middle. He had never showed any one it until now. He looked at her and turned off the hose. He walked into her stable and whistled. She came in and he patted her "neck time its bareback" he said patting her.

Samara's eyes widen. "You're kidding right?" she said watching has he petted the horse. "I don't ride bareback. I barely know how to ride her with a saddle on!" she laughed.

Jace laughed "its fine you don't have to ride with me. Bare back is her favorite thing and its mine to, its the best thing. Trust me once I get you to ride a horse you are riding bare back" he said with a grin on his face from her reaction. He petted Wisp one last time and walked back to her "lets go back to the living room im going to sleep" he said grabbing her hand and going to the living room.

She followed after him, "I guess we will have to wait and see if I ride bare back." Samara said with a giggle.

Jace nodded "you will I promise" he said and picked her up bridal style to the pack house. He laughed with her in his arms.

Mira rode her horse Stella into the forest.
