The Horse Trails

She sat there and continued to laugh. Samara covered her face from the water as he sprayed the hose at her. "Okay, okay!" she said still laughing. "You win, put the hose down." she giggled.

Jace laughed and sprayed himself off and quickly washed the horse, he turned the hose off and led Wisp into her stable. He walked over to Samara "come on lets go back to the pack house, I need a shower" he said gesturing to his muddy and wet clothes. He started to walk and turned back looking for Samara to follow.

She smiled but held out her hand for him to help her up. "Come help me." she grinned, still sitting in the mud puddle. Her blue eyes shown bright in the sunlight and her brown hair hung loose and damp in the bun.

Jace stepped forward and carefully started to pull her up, he smirked and dropped her back into the mud with a thump. He laughed and then finally pulled her up all the way.

"That wasn't nice." she said playfully slapping his arm with a smile on her lips. She was enjoying her time with this guy and it really helped her keep her mind off her dying uncle. "Come on. I need a shower too. Again." she giggled as they headed back towards the pack house.

Jace laughed and started to walk toward the pack house. He stopped and looked at her "come on lets shift and run there please" he begged with his hands together.

She gave a brief nod. "Race you." she said right before shifting into her wolf form. The she-wolf shook out her muddy, wet pelt as she waited for Jace to shift into his wolf form. She waved her tail happily.

Jace shifted into his white wolf and nudged her playfully, he looked at her with a goofy grin and ran off toward the pack house.

She followed after him. She was quick on her paws thanks to her small frame. She flicked her tail as she quickly caught up to the white brute. The breeze blew through her brown pelt as she soon passed him coming up quick on the house.

Jace yipped and flicked his tail. He ran and arrived at the house waiting for Samara to enter. (and we poof to The Living Room)

The made it to the stables, releasing Jaces hand Samara ran towards the Stable Wisp was in. She clicked her tongue to get the paints attention.

He saw Wisp turn her head and he chuckled. He grabbed the saddle reins and bride fitting them on her. He climbed on and reached his hand out for Samara to get on. He patted Wisp nose and smiled, he loved his horse.

She reached out and took his hand, climbing up onto the horse. "Where should we go?" she asked.

Jace smiled as she got up "how about the stream trail. its beautiful" he said with a smile and then whispered In her ear "but not as beautiful as you" with a chuckle.

"The stream sounds great." she said, with a small giggle, her cheeks turning slightly red at the complement. "Thank you.." she said, he voice turning soft.

Jace laughed and started Wisp off at a slow trot. He walked her through the beautiful scenery and then had her go into a gallop. He saw the stream and made her go faster as they trotted through the stream getting sprayed by water as he laughed.

Samara held on tightly, not having been on a galloping horse before though she was enjoying her time. She laughed when the water was being splashed up at her but she was in awe over the scenery of the land.

Jace laughed and hugged her to his chest tightly as they jumped over a log. He went over another stream and found a lake. He jumped off and tied Wisp to a tree branch. He jumped into the lake taking his shirt and laying it down as he jumped in.

She sat upon Wisp, watching Jace for a long moment. "I don't think I want to get wet today." she called out to him. "I also think I want to talk to you about Mateship." she said, her voice automatically becoming softer.

Jace nodded and hoped out. He went over to her and looked at her standing next to Wisp looking at her. He hoped she liked him because he thought he was in love with her.

She looked to him and sighed. "Jace," she began. "I think I may be in love with you and if that's true then of course I'm going to want you to be my mate but I need to know I can trust you and I need to know that you trust me and that we want the same things in life." Samara said, her blue eyes were soft as she watched him.

Jace nodded "I am In love with you in ways I cant even explain and I want to say you can trust me. I'm not going to be perfect and I know I will make mistakes and a lot of them and I love you Samara and I trust you with my life because I know I love you" he said looking up at her as she sat atop of Wisp. He watched her with loving gray eyes and put his hands in hers.

Samara's eyes lit up and her heart pounded quickly. She couldn't tell him she loved him too. Not yet but she knew she did. She leaned forward slightly and kissed his forehead. "I'm glad to hear that." she said pulling away, a smile on her lips. "Give me a day or two and I'll have my decision on if I want you to be my mate or not." Samara said with a smile.

Jace nodded "want to ride back" he said with a smile. He could wait, he had to wait for else he would not get his answer and he needed his answer. He hopped on the back but not before grabbing her shirt and putting it back on. He kissed her cheek and grabbed the reins and then handed them to her with his eye brown up in question.

She handed them back to him. "I like when you have control over her. Wisp seems to know." Samara said. "And I just want to relax a little." she said leaning against him slightly.
