The living room

Jace turned his head and instantly knew she was sad, he scooted closer to her. He put his arms around her "whats wrong" he whispered in her ear.

jansen walked into the livingroom Crimson still on his back. "Hey" he called out, smiling at them as he set her down moving to his chair.

She sighed, taking in a deep breath trying to find her words. "I just got off the phone with my uncle." she said. "He's not sounding so great. His voice is so raspy and I guess he's lost more weight. He was 190 pounds only a month ago and now he's 168." she frowned unsure of what else to say to him.

Jace hugged her and whispered in her ear "its ok, I'm here fore you" he said with all kindness. Jace turned his head and saw Jansen, he waved and still had his arms wrapped around Samara.

Crimson smiled as she jumped onto the couch. She looked at Jansen "thanks Jansen" she said with a smile.

"eh" he puffed. "Sure thing" he looked at Jace and Samara cocking his head to the side, though deciding against asking what was wrong

"Thanks," she whispered before pulling away from Jace. She turned her attention to Crimson and Jansen as they entered. "Hey guys." she said with a welcoming smile.

jansen rubbed his neck awkwardly "Imma go to my room" he smiled weakly as he headed out of the living room

Jace nodded and shrugged his eyes flashing toward Crimson. He looked at Samara and smiled at her.

Crimson saw the sign and walked out of the room, she didn't want to interrupt anything. She watched them and knew they liked each other.

"Okay..bye.." she said as Jansen and Crimson left the room. Oblivious to the gesture Jace gave Crimson. She looked back to Jace and tilted her head slightly. "I guess they didn't want to hang." she gave a gentle smile.

Jace shrugged "so what should we do, eat more strawberries, run in wolf form, trying riding wisp again or watch tv" he said raising his eyebrows and looked at her.

She gave him a weird look when he mentioned riding Wisp again. "Not anytime soon." she said with a smile. "How about we get to know each other better." she said turning to face him, crossing her legs so she could fit comfortably on the sofa.

Jace laughed and then turned to her fixing his position so he was facing her "what would you like to know" he asked.

"A little more about your parents.." she said pushing her hair back away from her eyes. She looked into his and smiled to him.

Jace thought "what about them" he said. He looked at her and looked into her beautiful sky blue eyes.

She thought about it for a moment. "What are their names?" she asked, starting out with something small. She leaned up against the cushion of the couch and readjusted herself again as she watched him.

Jace smiled "their names were Adolpha and Derek" he said. He always loved the name Adolpha.

"It's a great name." she smiled. "I don't know my fathers name. I never met him." she said looking down, fiddling with her own fingers. "My mothers name was Marcy." she looked back up to him. "One of the most beautiful women I have ever seen." she smiled, remembering her mother and what she looked like. "I miss her."

"I know I miss my parents to, do you know what Adolpha means in latin? it means Noble Wolf and she defiantly fit that role" he said and then turned to her. He looked at her "do you want a mate and pups" he asked.

She was taken aback by his question and the suddenness of it. "I suppose so but I want to graduate before having children." Samara retaliated in asking the same question, "What about you?" she said leaning forward slightly to rest her elbow against the cushion of the sofa.

Jace nodded "Yes I want a mate but I want to wait and go one step at a time and then have pups after school and once I settle down with my mate" he said and then looked at her. He thought for a moment and then looked at her "What do you want to do after you finish school" he asked.

"I want to continue to run my pack as best I can, find a nice, reliable, loving and trusting mate. I want to start a family and then go from there." she smiled thinking about what she had planned for her future and how she saw it playing out in her mind. She snapped out of her thoughts and focused her attention on Jace.

Jace nodded "how about pets, you want a dog or your own horse" he asked. He loved how she cared of her pack first, he smiled.

"I'm not sure." she said. "I don't feel I have enough time to care for an animal. At least not right now with running the pack and going to school and dealing with my Uncle." she said. "Do you have any siblings?" Samara asked.

Jace shook his head "my mom was pregnant when she was killed, those heartless people" he said and looked at her "When do you want your mate to officially become your mate" he asked

"Hmm.. I'm not sure." Samara said, "I suppose whenever but not unless I truly love him." she said, as she watched him. "What about you? When would you like to find your mate?" her voice grew softer as she spoke those words.
