The living room

He puffed out his cheeks as if was going to protest, this was his time to be alone and not be bothered, maybe get a wink of sleep without being jumped on.. "Alright, fine" he smiled.

Crimson smiled "thanks" she said hugging him. She pulled away "this time if you fall asleep I wont wake you up I promise" she said and followed him.

he rolled his eyes "yeah right" he opened the door waving goodbye to Samara and Jace, leaving the pack's house..

Crimson shook her head "fine don't believe me" she said following him. She breathed in the fresh air of outside and sighed.

Jace came in and sat on the couch laying the Ramen bowl on his bare chest and padded the seat next to him for her to sit down.

She wondered to the couch and took a seat next to Jace. She grabbed the remote and turned the TV on. Setting the bowl down on her lap she grabbed another strawberry and popped it into her mouth. Her eyes resting on the television set.

Jace yawned "mm this Ramen is good" he said and then grabbed a strawberry from her bowl. He laughed and plopped one in his mouth.

"Hey!" she growled playfully. "That was mine." she grinned, flicking his ear with her thumb and middle finger. "Eat your ramen. That's why you made it." she giggled.

Jace held his ear with a pouting face, his bottom lip was out and his gray eyes showed fake sadness. he crossed his arms "but I like strawberries" he said.

She rolled her eyes and offered him another strawberry. "Fine." she said. "Only because I like you." she smiled.

Jace smiled "you love me don't deny it" he said and took the strawberry. He plopped it in his mouth and smiled at her and then smirked.

She laughed. "You wish." she giggled taking the last strawberry and eating it slowly. She looked to him and batted her eyes. "If anything you love me." she smirked back.

Jace laughed and smirked "why I think it was you that said I like you first" he said. He chuckled "You love me and you know it" he said.

"Okay, yes." she grinned. "I love you as a friend." she laughed and pinched his cheek. "The most adorable friend I've ever had." she released his cheek, looking at him.

Jace huffed "I'm friend zoned" he said, he looked down making a fake sad look. He popped her nose and laughed as she pinched his cheeks.

She smiled and patted his head. "Who knows.. maybe. Maybe not." Samara was crushing on this guy but she didn't know if she'd be able to take it anywhere or if she even wanted to. She looked at him. Her blue eyes soft.

Jace smiled and tilted his head "what if I told you that I'm hoping that its a maybe" he said and finished his Ramen putting it in the sink and going back to sit down. He looked at her blue eyes and then got another strawberry.

She grew silent unsure of he was serious or not. "Then I guess we will just have to wait and see." she gave a soft smile before standing up and taking her bowl to the kitchen. She waited a long moment before returning back to the livingroom. She looked to Jace. "I'll be right back." she said as she walked to the staircase. She took out her cellphone and began to dial her uncles number. 

Delaney entered the livingroom. Her bright green eyes scanned the livingroom. Spotting Jace she walked over and took a seat on the opposite side of him. "Hi." she said. Her red hair flowing freely down her back. 

(Time to make Samara jealous.)

Jace looked over at Delany "hey" he said and turned back waiting for Samara. He hoped she was ok. (haha Jace wont take it lol)

(He doesn't have to. Only Samara does but have him talk to her at least. xD)

Samara's call went to voicemail after a couple of rings. She hesitated, wondering if she should go check on her uncle. Deciding against it she dialed the number again this time getting an answer. She sighed in relief hearing her uncles voice. 

Delaney tilted her head. "Waiting on someone?" she asked not knowing Samara was with him moments ago. She twirled her red hair with her right index finger as she spoke to him.

Jace nodded "Samara" he said, he rung his hands through his brown hair and watched the tv.

"Ah, got a secret crush on her?" Delaney asked with a sly smile plastering her pink lips. Her eyes rested on Jace, watching his movements. 

Samara continued to talk to her uncle on the phone. She took a seat on the staircase as she spoke with him. She could feel tears welding up in her eyes as she listened to his raspy voice. Samara knew of nothing to tell her uncle other than that if he needed anything she would always be there for him.

Jace rolled his eyes "and someone needs to go away" he mumbled and looked up at her "whats it to you" he said. He just wanted Samara to come back and hang out with him.

"Oh, Mr. Snippy." she grinned. "You do like her." she rose to her feet. "It's nothing to me but it will be something to her." Delaney said as she left the room. She passed Samara on the staircase and grinned to the alpha. "Your boyfriend wants you to come back." she smirked before disappearing up the stairs towards her bedroom. 

Samara held the phone away from her face and watched Delaney as she went up the stairs. Samara returned back to her phone and said by to her uncle before hanging up and heading back to the livingroom. She still had tears in her eyes but she was determined to hide it from Jace. She walked over and sat next to Jace again. This time a little closer than before.
